I added my public comment and ALSO included that I would like the ACIP committee to “explain the reasoning and provide the supporting data as to why they are revisiting approval of already approved vaccines.”
• Submission Topic: CDC ACIP Public Comment (CDC-2025-0024-0001)
• Summary: Submitted public comment urging full transparency, scientific rigor, and disclosure of qualifications and conflicts in vaccine policy decisions, reflecting personal trust in science but concern over recent developments.
Are representatives from professional organizations going to be present non-voting members like they used to? Or will that not be allowed? I’m hoping they’ll all be there and speak up loudly. Very disappointed in the Senate HELP Committee for not immediately acting on this, but my Democratic Senator on that committee’s office has made it clear I’m the only one calling about this (more calls needed). Supposedly, Sen Blunt Rochester introduced the Vaccine Act, but I don’t see the bill itself anywhere and her staff told me it doesn’t have a number yet, “but watch the clip from Morning Joe” 🙄.
I added public comment yesterday and plan to attend the meeting.
