Thank you so much I started following you at the beginning of the pandemic on picked up and I just wanted to say thanks again for doing the hard work and keeping us up to date on real things
Just saw your comment, Dawn, nice one. Well still trying to stay informed, but it’s encouraging to see folks like you already taking action. I’m active duty military, and seeing this kind of breakdown in public health response hits different. Totally agree, we need more people speaking up and pushing for awareness. Appreciate you setting that example.
Is pasteurized milk still okay or should we avoid that too? There’s this lady local to me always posting about having raw milk to sell and it makes me so mad😡😡
are there Canadian (or British) government websites that post similar information about infectious diseases and recalls (keeping in mind that I understand the products might have different names & lot numbers)? I'm going to start researching for such sites, but I thought maybe you, or someone here, have the links handy.
In late(ish) 2024, CDC redid their website addresses and old links were set to automatically redirect to new links for a period of time. I'm not saying that has anything to do with this, but it's possible this redirect isn't functioning the way it's meant to, or the redirect period has expired.
The missing page appears to have been removed between September and December 2024. This is the last valid capture by archive.org.

Contacted my local reps. I can’t imagine going through another COVID situation.

Sent letters to my Oregon reps. We must continue spreading awareness and mitigate. So grateful for your messaging.

It's not this page? https://www.cdc.gov/bird-flu/spotlights/h5n1-analysis-texas.html
I’m baffled at how little media coverage there appears to be about this… you would think this make the front page… NOPE
Um do you have any information or comforting advice about the discovery of H5N9 😖😢. Just trying not to panic……..
And feeling like maybe I’ll just start staying home as much as possible to reduce exposure risks… :(
Mask wearing and handwashing help dampen spread.

Pasturing milk destroys pathogens
We had 4 cases of Flu A in my clinic just today.

ok, adding:
Canada Recalls: https://recalls-rappels.canada.ca/en
I *think* this is like the CDC, but anyway has a LOT of info:

Looks like there isn't anything comparable in the UK? There must be, but I might be using the wrong search terms.
